There is no one perfect class that can meet all your health needs, variety is the key to creating a holistically healthy lifestyle. We are proud to offer multiple class styles with different benefits to help you begin the journey of bringing balance back to your life

PILATES

Olive & Winnie has three main Pilates class styles: Flow, Energise & Stretch

FLOW PILATES

In our flow sessions, we will seamlessly flow from one movement to the other, challenge the full body and move the spine in all different ways so that you can finish the class feeling strong, lengthened and calm. Our flow sessions will have lots of focus on form to ensure you can get the most out of each movement.

ENERGISE PILATES

In our energise sessions, we will move at a faster pace, to increase the heart rate slightly more than a typical Pilates class.

STRETCH PILATES

Stretch classes will involve a focus on slowing down, moving the spine and focussed stretches of the full body.

We also offer individual Pilates series, including Mastering the Fundamentals, Classical Pilates and classes that use small equipment such as the Pilates ball & ring.

Benefits: Strengthening & lengthening muscles, mobilising your spine, joint flexibility, feeling strong

YOGA | psychology

Olive & Winnie offers two types of Yoga: Yin & Vinyasa with Psychology

YIN YOGA

Yin is a cosy, slow yoga style where poses are held for a few minutes. The physical focus is about full-body relaxation, surrendering into the moment, and working with the connective tissues, while the energetic focus is about gently stimulating the internal energy channels (meridians) that are linked to different organs within the body. It’s a meditative practice that helps create physical and mental relaxation.

VINYASA YOGA & PSYCHOLOGY

Expect nourishing vinyasa yoga flows, which are suitable for all, including those new to yoga. Each class will have a different psychology-based theme or focus that will be interwoven into the class. A time to reflect on how we are feeling, consider how movement can shift our mood and show your body & mind some love. Show up as you are, wherever you are, to breathe, move and find stillness. These sessions will be taught by our amazing qualified Clinical Psychologist & Yoga teacher, Dr Megan Hollett.

Benefits: strengthening muscles, joint flexibility, improved mindfulness

BREATHWORK & MEDITATION

Our breathwork & meditation sessions focus on slowing down & resetting your nervous system

RESTORATIVE BREATHWORK

Breath techniques and practices help to regulate your nervous system, cultivate internal ease, a relaxed state of being, and mental clarity. These classes help to ground the body and soothe the mind, leaving you feeling more connected, conscious, and calm.

MEDITATION

Our mindfulness practices will bring you to a state of “being” rather than “doing”. Some meditations will encourage you to tune into your senses, whilst others will work with visualisation, breath awareness, physical relaxation techniques, etc. The aim isn’t to try to stop your thoughts, it’s to observe & accept whatever is present for you in the moment.

Benefits: calming your nervous system, being present, reducing stress

Megan | Sara | Molly

dr Megan hollett

Megan is a London-based Clinical Psychologist and Yoga teacher. Megan’s interest in the mind-body connection shapes both her therapeutic work in the NHS and her Yoga teaching. Megan believes in a holistic approach to wellbeing but remains conscious of the issues within the modern wellness industry, which can push individualistic and exclusionary narratives. Megan holds values such as compassion, inclusion, integrity and community at the heart of her work.

Megan initially found studios intimidating with their focus on appearance and performance. It took Megan some time to understand what Yoga is really about (hint, it's not flexibility, thank goodness). Megan's Yoga classes are accessible and down to earth, blending the ancient wisdoms of Yoga with modern psychological insights to inspire personal & collective growth.

Sara benitez

Born into a family of mindfulness practitioners, Sara has grown up embodying the teachings of Yoga. She is a trauma-informed guide, who teaches Yoga Asana, meditation, and restorative breathwork. Her offerings aim to bring spaciousness and grounding to the body, mind, and breath, with a strong focus on inner connection.

Sara believes that by building a healthy relationship with oneself we can develop a deeper understanding of how our bodies communicate with us, a stronger sense of inner stability, and more kindness towards ourselves and others.

Molly babuniak

Molly is a multi-skilled coach who teaches Strength, Conditioning and Pilates. Molly has found that a holistic approach to movement & wellbeing has been incredibly beneficial to her and loves to share this with others. Molly encourages people to practice a variety of movement styles to improve both physical and mental wellbeing, whether that is a stress-relieving and energising HIIT session or a Pilates flow.
